Weather & Climate
November falls at the onset of Bali's wet season, bringing occasional afternoon showers alongside the island's characteristic tropical warmth. Delegates can expect average temperatures of around 27°C (81°F), with daytime highs of approximately 31°C (88°F) and evening lows around 23°C (73°F). All conference sessions and events are held in air-conditioned venues.

Bali operates on Central Indonesian Time (WITA), which is UTC+8.

Currency
The official currency of Indonesia is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). All transactions at regular retail establishments require payment in Rupiah. Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) are accepted at hotels, restaurants, and most retail outlets in Nusa Dua.

Foreign currency may be exchanged at authorised money changers and bank branches throughout Bali; a valid passport is required. Exchange rates vary; please verify current rates with your bank prior to travel. Indicative rates as of June 2026: USD 1.00 = IDR 18,187 | EUR 1.00 = IDR 20,984. These rates are subject to change.

Getting There
The conference venue, Bali International Convention Centre and The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, is located in the Nusa Dua resort precinct. Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is approximately 30 minutes by car.

Official taxis are available at the designated stand in the airport arrivals area. The approximate fare to Nusa Dua is IDR 165,000. Please use only official taxis from the designated counter and avoid accepting offers from solicitors inside the terminal. Ride-hailing services (Grab, Gojek) are also available via app.

Passport & Visa
All international delegates must hold a passport valid for a minimum of six months from the date of arrival in Indonesia. Visa requirements vary by nationality. Electrical Supply
Indonesia's standard electrical supply is 220V at 50Hz. Hotel rooms in Nusa Dua typically provide universal sockets; adaptors and voltage converters are available upon request from hotel housekeeping.
